The month of March was a higher-mileage, low-dollar month. Perfect!
March 7 - Drive to RMNP & back. 60 miles @ $1.70/gal = $5
March 12 - Gels. $5
March 14 - Drive to Salida & back. 450 miles @ 1.70/gal = $18 ($38 (Chad pitched in $20)).
March 20 - Drive to Conoco & back. 20 miles = $2
Totals:

Total Miles .............. 302 (32,000 feet of vertical)

nick...looks like you're able to keep some solid training going. Wish I could say the same. My future in the Fruita 50 is in jeapordy with my foot injury from Salida, but if I'm there, hopefully we'll meet. If not, then looks like Gemini Adventures will get an easy $65. argh.
ReplyDeletegood luck man.
Don't give up on Fruita yet - still two weeks to turn it around. Even if you're not in 50 shape, there's always the 25 option. Either way, looks like your bike trip is shaping up to be quite the adventure.
