Bighorn Results

Looks like they failed to do live tracking.

Top three (rest still running when I left):

1. Karl Meltzer (CR) 19:15 (absolutely killed this run in pretty trying conditions)
2. Nick Clark 21:29 (30 mins off course, fell in river)
3. Harry Harcrow 22:20 (much puking)

Don't ever let anyone tell you that running 100 miles is fun. In the words of my friend Felix: "A pure suffer fest." I'm not averse to a bit of suffering while running, just not for 10 hours straight. Now to bed. Race report to follow.

  2. Congratulations to Karl on yet another win!!! This guy is simply incredible! Not only did he win, but by an over 2-hour lead, breaking his own course record of 20:12!! There is no other runner on this earth who can or will do what this man has already done and has yet to do! Karl's 2nd 100-mile win of the year thus far, and on his way to winning 7 100-milers this year, which would break his own record of 6 100-mile wins in one calendar year! GO KARL!!!

  5. Congrats, Nick!!! Wow, awesome result! I thought the race started today and that you'd be running right now, but I now see it started yesterday and you are done! Second place in your first 100-miler is incredible, not that I had any doubt you'd be ready. That you managed to finish 2nd while getting off-course and falling into a river is even more impressive. Looking forward to reading your write-up buddy.
